POWER+ (Modular UPS (10 - 100kva.)
Modular UPS are becoming a very viable alternative to the stand alone version. The reason is that expansion in the data environment must be taken care of without necessarily altering the architecture as well as substantially increasing budget. Our UPS comes in detachable/ hot swap plug-in modules of 10 – 20kva and can be configured in parallel for N+1 or N+2 redundancy. It is a True on- line Battery in that it complies with the IEC- 62040-3 standard by its ability to take its input power from either AC input ( via rectifier) or the battery and supply power to the load. The battery is connected between the rectifier output and the inverter input on a common DC link.
UPS OPERATION
The UPS is a critical power component providing battery backup and power conditioning that increases availability and system performance. We supply a wide range of GAMATRONIC UPS sizes that can be matched to the exact requirements of the customer. This reduces the effect of under sizing and high costs associated with over provisioning. Very critical to the success of a power infrastructure is the ability to remotely administer and monitor the equipments. Gamatronics has a range of monitoring solutions which include Gamma SiteScan Web and Gamma battery monitoring. At a minimum, we offer SiteScan software to allow for remote administration and monitoring. It is absolutely important that power supplied to the UPS is appropriate hence our insistence on the use of stabilizers.
