Telecom graded DC/AC Inverters

The need to provide uninterrupted supply of power to equipments necessitated the advent of this equipment. Our ability to provide this kind of support has placed us as a verifiable back up supplier for financial industry particularly banks as well as the telecoms industry. It comes in 2 variants: the stand alone (MST) and the flexible modular unit (IPU 1000).

I. MST and QBit

The MST is a 6KVA UPS with on line double conversion and which also includes an output isolation transformer. It can be configured to do long back up hours with an attached battery bank. The Qbit on the other hand comes in ranges of 5KVA.

II. IPU1000

The IPU is another variant. It comes in 1KVA with 48VDC.
It is usually about 9.5” in size and will suit major inverting purpose.

III. Static Switch Modules.

We are major suppliers of static switches within the telecom industry. Our range ensures that un- paralleled switching which is a major challenge in power systems is achieved. The AC static switch considerably increases the reliability of UPS and inverter systems. The unit is available in single-phase and three-phase modules. It has several unique features:

…Two inputs, one output
…Synchronization
…Zero-time transfer
…Surge protection
…Overload protection
…Backfeed protection (3,6kVA models)
…Optional PSM-STSW management software

IV. Power Systems

Provides clean DC power to sensitive equipment while simultaneously charging the battery bank and supplies backup power during mains failure. There is a Control and Management Solutions which is an application platform to regulate operation of device.

V. DC to DC converter

This device includes flexible modules that convert unregulated 48V DC Voltage to an isolated and regulated DC voltage of between 12-110V. Our device works by converting one DC voltage level to another, by storing the input energy temporarily and then releasing that energy to the output at a different voltage. The storage may be in either magnetic field storage components (inductors, transformers) or electric field storage components (capacitors). This conversion method is more power efficient (often 75% to 98%) than linear voltage regulation (which dissipates unwanted power as heat). This efficiency is beneficial to increasing the running time of battery operated devices. Our converters also use synchronous rectification which replaces the flywheel diode with a power FET with low "On" resistance, thereby reducing switching losses.
